The pattern appears changeable, with neither high nor low pressure fully in control. Much of the period looks relatively dry.
A sharp change in daytime temperatures is forecast later on, around Tuesday 1st September, and daytime highs are set to rise but overnight lows will drop, suggesting clearer skies and a widening temperature range.
Warm or very warm conditions are expected, with daytime highs in the mid-to-upper 20s. Wednesday 2 September looks like the warmest day, with temperatures up to 28°C. Friday 21 August sees the lowest temperatures, though remaining above 8°C. There is a notable spread between the highest and lowest temperatures, so conditions will vary considerably.
A blustery spell is expected around Friday 28 August, bringing gusts of 43mph. There will be some wet spells, with rainfall totals near 24mm over the period.
